Scott Mccgann

I have been an avid Bow hunter and 3-D Target Archery shooter for more then 10 years. I was lucky enough to become acquainted with a guy named Robert Martin about 6 years ago. Thru his own hard work and determination, I think he builds the best bowstrings available today.

Robert's strings are an extreme bargain. You get way more for the $$$. I have used Robert's strings for the past several hunting and 3-D seasons. I have no doubt that every time I pull my bow back, my string will always perform flawlessly. I have shot several thousand shots on Gem County Archery strings. Gem County Archery strings were there with me when I harvested each of the critters I have taken the past few years, including three that have qualified for the Pope & Young Record book.

When at full draw on a Record Book animal, I have never had to worry about a string failure. Harvesting 5 Idaho Big Game critters in one year and being named the Idaho State Bow hunter of the Year would not have been the same without Robert's field tested strings. They have been field-tested in rough terrain and proven themselves over and over.

Keep up the great work Robert.

Jodee Martin's Pope & Young record book Bear with GCA string

I appreciate the great quality of a good bow string, which I found in a Gem County Archery custom-made string. I've been shooting Gem County Archery for about two years now, and I realized it takes a good strong durable string for accuracy.

I spend less time on bow tune-ups and more on shooting, due to the no-stretch guarantee. I noticed in other strings I found myself spending more time on trying to get my arrow consistent even though my form was the same.

I've shot at lots of 3-D shoots all spring and summer long, but yet here comes fall--I swap field points to broad heads and start the big hunts. Never had to adjust my sights. I bagged a few trophies in my eyes.

Bull Elk with GCA string

Blacks Creek packs are the best and most comfortable packs I've ever worn. I've been hunting in the back country of Idaho for 16 years. May of 2003 I had major back surgery; I now have two plates and four bolts and one steel cage in my back. Thanks to Jehovah, God to give all this to Blacks Creek so that they could come up with such ideas.

In 2003 & 2004 hunting seasons I had to change my way of hunting. I found that the Blacks Creek pack that I owned was very comfortable to wear and the shoulder straps took most of the weight off of my back. The pack's wide waist belt and lumbar support and the design of the shoulder straps make it the most comfortable pack I have ever worn. If it wasn't for the Blacks Creek ultimate bowman pack, I would have given up hunting

Thank You,

Our strings in action

I would like to thank you at Gem County Archery for building strings for my bow. Not only did they perform well, but they have improved my shooting.

I have put these strings to the test and found that they out-perform any strings on the market. I hunted in rain, snow, hot weather and about anything else mother nature could have handed out. It performed well each time.

I have used many bowstrings but this is the only one that has not stretched after a season of use. I have had strings that stretch from 0 to 1 1/2 inches, but the strings I purchased from you had zero stretch even after 8 months and approximately 10,000 shots of use, from archery tournaments and daily practice to hunting. Thanks again; keep building those strings.
